FBT return handling itemized per unit
FBT return handling is now itemized per returned unit (~$3.00) instead of bundled. Expected-return cost in the calculator reflects this.
Independent seller shipping ended
TikTok ended independent shipping for most US sellers; FBT and TikTok-managed shipping options became the default fulfillment paths. Check your Seller Center for the options available to your shop.
EU referral fee raised from 5% to 9%
Referral fees across EU5 markets (DE, FR, IT, ES, IE) rose from the 5% launch rate to 9%. Select electronics qualify for 7%. New-seller promo: 4% for 60 days.
£0.50 self-fulfillment service fee introduced
UK sellers shipping orders themselves now pay a flat £0.50 per order on top of referral and processing fees.
Refund administration fee capped at $5 per SKU
The refund administration fee (20% of the original referral fee) is now capped at $5 per SKU on refunded orders.
UK referral fee raised to 9%
The UK referral fee moved from 5% to 9%, bringing it in line with where EU rates later landed.
US referral fee settled at 6%
After the launch-era promotional rates ended, the US standard referral fee was raised to 6% for most categories, with select jewelry and pre-owned at 5%.
